Meet the Designer

I’ve always been curious, and that curiosity shows up in a lot of different ways.

Guitar – This past year I’ve been diving into the blues, from 12-bar progressions to sharp phrasing and complex licks.

Chess – I’ve been playing for over a decade and currently have a 2300 bullet rating on chess.com (if you know, you know).

Espresso – As a lifelong non-caffeinated human, I’ve recently stepped into this new world and am working on perfecting my cortado game.

Rockhounding – My best find is a clear quartz crystal I dug up in Arkansas. It’s about the size of a small cat. And yes, rockhounding is real.

Plants – I’ve got 50+ houseplants. To simplify care, I built an AI app to catalog them with detailed notes and reminders.

Hiking – Or maybe “walking” is more accurate – but either way, I love being outdoors. My partner Stephanie and I have probably hit every major park in the DFW area.

Design fits naturally into all this. It’s my way of exploring ideas and solving real problems, and that’s always been my sweet spot.
